What is Photo Dynamic Therapy?
Low-Level Laser Therapy is an innovative technology used to treat multiple skin conditions.
This therapy can be used for treating Melasma, Rosacea, dark spots, sun damage, acne and wrinkles.
How does it work?
The photons are absorbed by mitochondrial chromophores in skin cells. The procedure stimulates ATP blood flow and nitric oxide release. Stem cells can be activated allowing increased tissue repair and healing.
How the Photo Dynamic Therapy mask works?
The mask device has monochromatic diodes in the face mask (924 laser diodes and 1540 laser diodes in the body mask). There are four different lights used for treatments :

After 6 hours, gently cleanse your skin and apply Cetaphil cream or Cold Cream (Avene) as a moisturizer.
You must also protect the treated skin from sunlight for 48 hours and the use of strong sun protection is very important.
What are the risks of photodynamic therapy (PDT)?
There are very rare adverse effects including eye swelling, eye pain, nausea, fatigue and pigmentation changes in the skin.
